Quick answer. A ZZZ livestream code is the single redemption code HoYoverse drops during each Version Special Program broadcast. There have been 20 of them, from Version 1.1 in August 2024 to Version 3.2 on 28 August 2026, and every one paid out exactly the same bundle: Polychrome ×300, Senior Investigator Log ×2, W-Engine Energy Module ×3 and Denny ×30,000. They are one code per stream, not three, and since Version 2.1 every single one has expired at discovery plus two days, 23:59 UTC+8. The Version 3.3 Special Program is not announced yet; two independent first-party intervals point to Friday 9 October 2026 at 19:30 UTC+8, which would put its code dead by 11 October 2026, 23:59 UTC+8.
Most ZZZ code pages just tell you to "check the livestream." That is not useful, because the livestream code is the one code in Zenless Zone Zero with a hard 72-hour fuse on it, and people miss it for the same two reasons every time: they assume there are several codes like in other HoYoverse games, and they assume a code stays live for a week. Neither is true.
We pulled every Special Program code ever issued, with its discovery date and its exact expiry timestamp. The pattern is unusually rigid — here is what it shows, and what it predicts about Version 3.3.
What are ZZZ livestream codes?
Before each new version of Zenless Zone Zero, HoYoverse runs a Special Program broadcast: a preview of the next version's agents, events and banners, streamed on YouTube and Twitch. Partway through, a host reads out a redemption code on screen.
The wording HoYoverse itself uses is singular, and it is worth reading closely. From the Version 3.2 Special Program announcement on HoYoLAB, 24 August 2026:
"We will also be dropping an exclusive redemption code during the livestream, so make sure you tune in on time. Don't miss out, Proxies!"
One code. Not a set. Every rival page that tells you to "grab the three livestream codes" is importing a habit from a different game. Across all 20 Special Programs on record, the count has been one code per broadcast, without exception.
It is also the single largest one-off Polychrome drop the game hands out through redemption — nearly two Signal Search pulls' worth for about fifteen seconds of typing, which is why the stream slot matters far more than the small 50-Polychrome social codes. For the slower, repeatable sources, see our ZZZ Polychrome farming guide.
When is the next Zenless Zone Zero Special Program?
As of 3 October 2026, HoYoverse has not announced the Version 3.3 Special Program. But the schedule is not really a mystery, because two separate first-party intervals converge on the same evening.
Derivation one, from the version boundary. The Version 3.2 Update Announcement states the end of the current version outright:
"Please note that Version 3.2 will run for 42 days, ending on 2026/10/21 06:00 (UTC+8)."
So Version 3.3 begins 21 October 2026 at 06:00 UTC+8. Over the last four versions the gap from Special Program to version launch has been 12 days three times and 11 days once: Version 2.8 ran 24 April to a 6 May launch (12), Version 3.0 ran 6 June to 17 June (11), Version 3.1 ran 17 July to 29 July (12), Version 3.2 ran 28 August to 9 September (12). Twenty-one October minus 12 days is 9 October 2026, minus 11 is 10 October. So this derivation alone narrows it to one of two days.
Derivation two, from the broadcast cadence. This one picks between those two days. Version 3.0 broadcast on 6 June 2026, Version 3.1 on 17 July (41 days later) and Version 3.2 on 28 August (42 days later). Another 42 days from 28 August is 9 October 2026 — a Friday, matching the Friday slot used for both 3.1 and 3.2, where 10 October is a Saturday. Be aware this is a recent-pattern argument rather than a law: across the game's full history the spacing between programs has run anywhere from 35 to 49 days, and it only settled into the 41-to-42-day groove from Version 3.0 onward.
The start time has been nailed down for four versions running, and you can read it straight off HoYoverse's own key art: 19:30 UTC+8, printed on the Version 2.8, 3.0, 3.1 and 3.2 Special Program banners.
The thing to watch for is the announcement post. Version 3.2's went live on HoYoLAB on 24 August 2026, four days ahead of its 28 August broadcast, and Versions 3.0 and 3.1 ran to the same four-to-five-day lead. On that pattern the Version 3.3 Special Program announcement should appear around 4 or 5 October 2026 — within a day or two of this article going live. When it does, it confirms or corrects the date above, and nothing else needs to. For the wider Version 3.3 picture, see our ZZZ 3.3 breakdown.
How many codes does each Special Program give, and what is in them?
One code, and the contents have never changed. Not once in 20 broadcasts across two years and two major version eras:
- Polychrome ×300
- Senior Investigator Log ×2
- W-Engine Energy Module ×3
- Denny ×30,000
A player who had claimed all 20 would be holding 6,000 Polychrome, 40 Senior Investigator Logs, 60 W-Engine Energy Modules and 600,000 Denny purely from livestream codes.
One wrinkle: the item order shifts around in community listings, which is why some trackers show the V2.1 to V2.4 codes as a "different" reward. It is the same four items reordered.
Why do so many ZZZ livestream codes fail?
Because of a change HoYoverse made in July 2025 and never advertised.
For the first eight Special Programs — Version 1.1 through Version 2.0 — the code expired at the end of the next day. From Version 2.1 onward it expires at discovery plus two days, 23:59 UTC+8. That has now held for eleven consecutive codes with zero exceptions:
| Version | Broadcast date | Code expired | Window |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1.1 | 2024-08-03 | 2024-08-04 | 1 day |
| 2.0 | 2025-05-24 | 2025-05-25 | 1 day |
| 2.1 | 2025-07-04 | 2025-07-06 | 2 days |
| 3.0 | 2026-06-06 | 2026-06-08 | 2 days |
| 3.1 | 2026-07-17 | 2026-07-19 | 2 days |
| 3.2 | 2026-08-28 | 2026-08-30 | 2 days |
Two days sounds generous until you convert it. The window closes at 23:59 UTC+8, which is 15:59 UTC, 17:59 in Central Europe and 08:59 on the US West Coast. A Friday-evening Asia broadcast therefore expires on Sunday morning for Western players — 08:59 Pacific, before most of them are awake. That is the whole reason this code gets missed more than any other in the game.
Applied to the projected Version 3.3 broadcast on 9 October 2026, the code would die at 11 October 2026, 23:59 UTC+8. Treat it as a same-evening job.
Every ZZZ Special Program code so far
All of these are expired and are listed as a historical record, not as something to type in. We publish them because the pattern is the useful part — and because a page that quietly presents dead codes as live is the reason people stop trusting code lists.

| Launch | ZZZFREE100 | 2024-06-28 | 2024-07-11 |
Two entries carry a caveat we would rather state than hide. DREAMINGANGEL has no broadcast reference attached to it in the community record; we place it at Version 2.6 because it carries the exact Special Program bundle and the exact two-day expiry, because 30 January 2026 sits in the right slot ahead of Version 2.6's 6 February launch, and because a Version 2.6 Special Program broadcast is independently attested. PROMEIA is referenced to a date of 7 June 2026, which is impossible — Version 2.8 had already launched on 6 May. Its broadcast was 24 April 2026, the date printed on the official Version 2.8 key art above.
Codes from sources other than the livestream behave completely differently, and several of them are still live. Our running list of those is in the ZZZ codes roundup.
How do you redeem a ZZZ livestream code in time?
Two routes, and they are not equivalent:
- In-game. Menu, then More, then Redemption Code. This works on every server.
- Website. The official redemption page at zenless.hoyoverse.com/redemption. The community reference annotates this route specifically as being for Global servers — the in-game route carries no such note. If you are on a non-Global account and the website rejects you, that is why.
Either way you need Inter-Knot Level 5 to unlock redemption at all. Rewards arrive by in-game mail, and that mail is not permanent. For the full walkthrough, including the error messages and what each one actually means, see our ZZZ redeem code guide.
The practical move for 9 October: open the redemption page in a browser tab before the stream starts, keep the stream on a second screen, and paste within the first minutes. The code is read out mid-broadcast and the chat will have it instantly; there is no advantage in waiting for a recap article.
Claim 300 Polychrome before the 3.3 livestream, not after
There is a deadline sitting in front of the projected broadcast that a lot of people are going to walk past. The Version 3.2 Update Announcement attached two separate Polychrome ×300 compensations, and they do not share an expiry:
- Server Update Compensation, Polychrome ×300 — claimable until the end of Version 3.2, 21 October 2026 at 06:00 UTC+8.
- Issue Fix Compensation, Polychrome ×300 — HoYoverse's instruction is to "log in to the game and claim the compensation before 2026/10/09 23:59 (UTC+8)."
Both required reaching Inter-Knot Lv. 4 before the 9 September 2026 update. Read that second date again: 9 October is the same day the Version 3.3 Special Program is projected to broadcast. If you tune in at 19:30 UTC+8 and then clear your mail afterwards, you are inside the window — but barely, and only if you actually open the mailbox that night. The mail itself expires 30 days after issue.
Merging these two grants into "one 300 Polychrome compensation" is the single most common error in coverage of this patch. They are two, and one of them dies in six days.
What is not confirmed about the Version 3.3 Special Program?
Being explicit here is more useful than pretending otherwise.
Confirmed by HoYoverse: Version 3.2 ends 21 October 2026 at 06:00 UTC+8. The two compensation deadlines above. The 19:30 UTC+8 broadcast slot for Versions 2.8, 3.0, 3.1 and 3.2.
Derived, not announced: the 9 October 2026 broadcast date, the 4 to 5 October announcement window, and the 11 October code expiry. These come from first-party intervals that have held for three to eleven consecutive versions, which is strong — but an interval is not a press release.
Not confirmed at all: the code string, the roster, and the collaboration. Community discussion ahead of this program is heavily focused on which characters get revealed and on a possible crossover, and the 3.3 banner speculation is loud. None of it is sourced. We will not print a guessed code string, and we will not name an unannounced agent; if you want the reasoning on what the next banner cycle plausibly looks like, that is handled separately in our ZZZ next banner coverage, clearly marked as projection.
One sentiment note that changes how people use these streams: a sizeable chunk of the playerbase skips the broadcast for story-spoiler reasons and only wants the code. That works — the code is read out on air and is circulating in chat and community trackers within minutes, so you do not have to sit through the reveals. The two-day fuse applies either way, and it starts from the broadcast, not from when you found out.

FAQ
How many codes does the ZZZ livestream give? One. Across all 20 Special Programs from Version 1.1 to Version 3.2, HoYoverse has dropped exactly one redemption code per broadcast, and its own announcement wording is singular: "an exclusive redemption code."
When is the ZZZ 3.3 livestream? Not yet announced as of 3 October 2026. Two independent first-party intervals — the 11-to-12-day program-to-launch gap and the recent 41-to-42-day program-to-program cadence — point to Friday 9 October 2026 at 19:30 UTC+8, ahead of Version 3.3's confirmed 21 October 2026 start. Watch for the official announcement post around 4 to 5 October.
How long do ZZZ livestream codes last? Two days. Every code from Version 2.1 onward has expired at the broadcast date plus two days, 23:59 UTC+8 — eleven for eleven. The eight codes before that, Versions 1.1 to 2.0, only lasted one day.
Do old ZZZ Special Program codes still work? No. All 20 are dead, including FLINTWORKS from Version 3.2. The two-day fuse means a livestream code is unredeemable within 72 hours of being read out, so any page listing them as active is out of date.
What do you get from a ZZZ livestream code? Polychrome ×300, Senior Investigator Log ×2, W-Engine Energy Module ×3 and Denny ×30,000. That bundle has been identical for all 20 codes.
Can I redeem a livestream code on the website? Usually, but the official redemption page is documented as being for Global servers specifically, while the in-game route — Menu, More, Redemption Code — works everywhere. Both require Inter-Knot Level 5.
