How to Unlock the Mentat Class in Dune Awakening

To unlock the Mentat class, you need to find the Mentat trainer out in the wilds of Arrakis. Start by heading to an area called Rift Watch, located on the right side of the Haga Basin, in a region known as Haga Rift. Keep an eye out for a large, distinctive base; when you get close, it will stand out due to its unique appearance compared to other camps in the area.

Upon arrival, look for an NPC named Samin Morro. He is your key to becoming a Mentat. Talk to him, and he will give you a special contract or quest that sets you on the path to unlocking Mentat abilities. The process is pretty simple: accept his challenge, complete the task, and you will unlock the Mentat skill tree.

Once you've unlocked the basic Mentat skills, it's time to find the advanced Mentat trainer. Head to the city of Arakeen. Inside, go to the bar located on the ground floor of the main area of the city.

The NPC you're looking for is named Zayn De Witte. He is usually found at the back of the bar; just walk straight through until you spot him. The game's map will help too, as the bar is clearly marked when you're in Arakeen.
