Big Spender is the rarest achievement in WARDOGS by a long way. Steam's global stats put it at 0.1% of players, which is roughly one player in a thousand. The next rarest, Do Not Resuscitate, sits at 9.1%.

It isn't a skill check. It needs a lot of Cash in one purchase and a stack of high unlock levels, and both of those reset at the Season 3 wipe on 12 November. This guide covers the Season 2 build that reaches $100,000, what each part costs, and the other nine achievements in order of how rare they are.

Quick answer: To get Big Spender you have to spend $100,000 on a single loadout in one vendor purchase. Spending $100,000 across a whole life or a whole match doesn't count, and neither does buying several cheaper kits for squadmates, according to players who tried. The Season 2 build one player reports reaching $100,695 is Level 4 armor and helmet, the Arsenal Backpack with two slings, three AMR 50 rifles with 6-10x MRAD scopes, and a backpack full of first aid kits. The published Season 2 prices for the armor, the backpack and three AMR 50s alone come to $57,900. You need the Cash banked and every item unlocked, and both reset on 12 November.

Updated 6 November 2026. Applies to WARDOGS Season 2 (patch notes posted on Steam 14 October 2026, season live 15 October 2026). Unlock rates were read from Steam's public achievement API on 6 November 2026 and change daily. WARDOGS is BULKHEAD's 100-player, three-team Control Zone shooter on Steam, not the 2016 film or a Warhammer 40,000 unit.

How many achievements does WARDOGS have?

WARDOGS has 10 Steam achievements. One is hidden, That was rude, and two can be earned in the tutorial. The other eight come from live matches.

All 10 WARDOGS Steam achievement icons ranked rarest first, with global unlock rates read from the Steam API on 6 November 2026

Here is the full list, ranked by the share of players who have each one. The names and descriptions are Steam's own text.

10This is WARDOGSComplete the Tutorial81.1%

Two things stand out. Only 81.1% of players have finished the tutorial, so about one in five never did. And Big Spender is roughly 90 times rarer than the next achievement on Steam's rounded figures, which tells you it's gated by something other than skill.

How do you get the Big Spender achievement in WARDOGS?

You have to spend $100,000 on one loadout. The wording trips people up, and a Steam Discussions thread on it (38 replies) went back and forth for weeks before players worked it out.

Here is what players there report:

  • It's one loadout, not one life. Spending $100,000 over a life by re-buying gear doesn't trigger it.
  • Gifting doesn't stack. One player wrote: "I built a loadout for $20,000 and bought it 5 times for my mates, but it didn't work."
  • It's a different achievement from Fat Stacks. Several replies mixed up spending $100,000 with earning $100,000 in a single life, which is Fat Stacks.

Season 2 also changed how loadouts are bought. The patch notes say that with Rebuy Last Loadout, "your equipment vendor UI will be populated visually with your last loadout, which you can then add to or remove items from before purchase." So a loadout is the set of items you confirm in one purchase, and that's the purchase that has to come to $100,000.

What does a $100,000 loadout cost in Season 2?

Season 2's price rises made the total easier to reach, according to the player who priced it. The AMR 50 .50 cal sniper went from $8,800 to $14,800 per life, and Level 4 armor went up too. Building it in the Firing Range on 20 October, that Steam player reported reaching $100,695 with:

  • Level 4 armor and Level 4 helmet
  • The backpack with two slings, so you can carry two extra rifles
  • Three AMR 50 sniper rifles with only the 6-10x MRAD scope
  • A full backpack of first aid kits

They added that the Support grenade launcher, a bipod, a suppressor and a pistol weren't needed. Here is what the published Season 2 vendor prices cover:

ItemSeason 2 price per lifeSource
AMR 50 (x3)$14,800 each, $44,400 totalSeason 2 patch notes
Level 4 Armor$5,000Season 2 patch notes
Level 4 Helmet$4,500Season 2 patch notes
Arsenal Backpack + 2 Slings$4,000Season 2 patch notes
Published subtotal$57,900
6-10x MRAD scopes, first aid kitsnot publishedplayer-built total $100,695

The patch notes don't list prices for the scopes or the first aid kits, so the last $42,795 or so comes from the player's in-game total, not from BULKHEAD. If you come up short, the notes list more expensive add-ons: the AMR 50 Cal Muzzle Brake at $1,380, the GOL Multi-Caliber Suppressor at $1,450 and the MGL-40 at $7,500.

How to check your total before you spend: players say the Firing Range vendor charges nothing, so you can build the loadout there first. One player's tip: "Buy the loadout then exit vendor - press tab to see your inventory and you gonna see the full price of your loadout on the left side of the screen." Once the Firing Range total is over $100,000, buy the same loadout for real in a match.

What levels do you need for Big Spender?

This is the likeliest reason only 0.1% of players have it. Every item has to be unlocked on its track before you can buy it, and the expensive ones sit high up.

Should you try Big Spender before the 12 November wipe?

Yes, if you're already close. BULKHEAD's reset rule, from its Early Access & Beyond devlog, is: "At the end of a season, your cash and XP progression will reset with your cash auto converted into gold bars." Season 3 starts on Thursday 12 November. A BULKHEAD developer confirmed that date on Steam: "Season 3 has been brought forward to November 12th to give everyone a proper fresh start."

After the wipe you lose both halves of Big Spender at once: the banked Cash and the high Recon and WARDOG levels. Climbing back to those levels takes a lot of play, and BULKHEAD CEO Joe Brammer has told Edge magazine the whole studio will be off for December (IGN's report). Season 3 patch notes aren't out, so nobody knows yet whether Season 3 prices will make the build cheaper or more expensive.

Achievements aren't part of that reset. The reset rule covers Cash and XP progression, and achievements are unlocks on your Steam account. Anything you earn before 12 November stays.

There's also a trade-off. Leftover Cash converts to Gold Bars at the wipe, so $100,000 spent on Big Spender is $100,000 that won't become Gold. At the rate on 3 November that was well under one Gold Bar. Our gold price tracker has the latest reading, and what to buy before the wipe covers the rest of the spend-or-convert decision.

How do you get Do Not Resuscitate and the other rare achievements?

Do Not Resuscitate (9.1%)

You need a kill with the defibrillator charge. In Season 2 the Defibrillator moved from Medic level 11 to 22, and its unlock fee rose from $50,000 to $110,000. That move makes it harder to reach this season. Our Medic unlocks guide covers the route to level 22. The Season 2 notes don't list the Defibrillator's per-life price.

Clean Sweep (9.4%)

You have to win while both other teams stay on zero points. With three teams that's hard, because the team with the most players in the zone scores, and any team that leads the zone count even briefly can get points on the board. Your best chance is a match where your team takes the zone early and holds it. Our Control Zone guide explains how scoring works. Don't try to set it up on a server with friends. BULKHEAD's CEO told Polygon: "If you want to sit in a server and abuse that with a friend, sure. You won't make that much money, we can see it, and we'll ban you."

CZ Survivor (10.1%)

This needs 60 minutes inside the Control Zone without dying, so you need a long match and a lot of protection. Level 4 armor and helmets have 60% damage reduction in Season 2 and Level 3 has 50%, though the Level 4 helmet muffles audio and narrows your view. The Medical Bag now unlocks at Medic level 14, and its durability went from 100 to 150. Play near cover your team builds instead of pushing fights.

Top Dog (11.0%)

You have to finish as the top Cash earner across all three teams. The Hot Zone "yields DOUBLE CASH!" according to BULKHEAD's February Top Questions post, so stay in it. In Season 2, hostile drill tower captures pay $1,500 and FOB hacks pay $2,500, while spotting pays about 30% less than in Season 1. Our make money guide and Hot Zone guide go further.

How do you get Long Shot, Fat Stacks and Ricochet?

Long Shot (13.8%)

You need a kill from more than 950 metres away. It's being talked about on r/WarDogs today: a screenshot of the unlock asking how 14% of players have it reached 153 comments within hours. Back in launch month a player noted it showed 4.5%, so the share has roughly tripled since then.

Use a Recon sniper with a high-magnification scope. A Range Finder ($1,450 per life in Season 2, $25,000 to unlock) helps you judge the distance. The Season 2 notes say rain affects spotting range, so a clear match is easier. Targets who stop to bandage are the easiest to hit, as one sniper pointed out in an earlier r/WarDogs thread.

Fat Stacks (26.7%)

You need $100,000 net profit in one life. That's the opposite of Big Spender: buy cheap, earn a lot and don't die. A modest loadout with good armor, steady work in the Hot Zone and logistics streaks gets you there in a long life. Season 2 streaks add $250 per pallet in a row, up to 10.

Ricochet (30.0%)

You need a kill with a ricochet bullet. BULKHEAD hasn't published which surfaces or angles cause ricochets, and most players get this one by accident over time.

How do you get the tutorial achievements?

This is WARDOGS (81.1%) unlocks when you complete the tutorial. That was rude (17.8%) is the hidden one: punch Kristopher during the tutorial. The gap between them means most people who finished the tutorial never punched him. If you skipped the tutorial at a season reset, our skip tutorial guide explains what you missed.

Short on Cash for a $100,000 loadout before the wipe? Big Spender needs the whole amount banked for a single purchase.

Cash and levels reset at the 12 November wipe, so only buy what you'll use before then. Cash and Leveling orders are played on your account by a booster, and the game's EULA lists paid boosting as cheating, so weigh that before ordering. With Rent a Pro you stay on your own account and play yourself.
